There is a lovely city
where never lack light, because there is no night. Nor lack water because in
the middle of the city, there is a river of crystal clear water, like a sea of
glass, bright as crystal. The walls are colorful gemstones, the doors and
windows of pearls, all the streets of gold, where the flowers never fade. La no
pain or sorrow, because happiness lives everywhere.
But to enter that city
would need a blood pact, because we have a big spot. The only way to be
cleansed, would be with the blood of Jesus Prince.
The King, owner of the
city, offered His Son as a sacrifice for us. He was born in this world, becoming
so poor, to give us all the riches of his palace. But, it was a tragic mission!
Before His death, He came in agony so that blood gushed from his skin, forming
large drops that fell to the ground! Thinking about quitting, perhaps He asked
agonizing: My Father! This blood is not enough? Embarrassed, the Father might
have answered him: My son! This blood is very little! The spot they have, will
only be cleaned with all the blood!
Then Jesus entered the
Prince in agony so that cried aloud: "Father! This suffering pass from Me!
However, Thy will be done! "
And that tragic
scenario, an angel appeared to him to comfort! Perhaps He told him: courage
Prince! Do not give up! When they become aware of His sacrifice, His offer a
great love and sincere gratitude!
Even in the midst of so
much agony, Father must also have spoken to Him: My Son! If you are not
sacrificed for them, Our enemy will take them to the place on fire, where the
fire never goes out! And the suffering will be eternal! His pain My Son, is
very great, I admit, but it's only for a few hours. Thus, they will be My
adopted children, and can live in this town Us
Then he spared no
effort! He lowered his head, took the cross and walked away, stumbling along
the way, carrying that cross, which would be sacrificed. Placed on His head a
braid of leaking poisonous thorns His eyes and nailed His hands and feet on the
cross. If nothing else, they spit in His face, mocked him, and pierced His side
with a sword! And at the time of his final agony, He just asked for some water
to relieve His thirst. But even that denied him! The pain was so intense, that
the Father, He answered nothing. And He, Feeling so alone, dying asked: My
Father! Why hast thou forsaken me?
Silence was the answer!
Until the sun hid,
pouring darkness in full later! The birds of the sky between the branches sang
cheerfully, silent in the darkness! The earth shook, the veil of the temple was
torn from top to bottom mysteriously, indicating that only we must confess Him,
and He alone, Prince Jesus can cleanse us from the stain of sin.
So Jesus in the midst
of so much agony, cried aloud:
"Father! In Thy
hands I commit my spirit! "And his last drop of blood, he slipped to the
ground!
So the schedule was
interrupted, beginning a new century after his birth!
Thus, Prince Jesus, so
bought that beautiful city for all of us!
Only need to repent,
asking Him for forgiveness, in obedience to His Word. Then we will be cleansed
and empowered for us to live with Him in that city.
For this sacrifice, the
Father exalted so that His name is on all the names, in heaven and on earth.
And every knee shall bow to Prince Jesus. He alone is worthy to open the book
of life and put our name to become citizens of that city!
"You are worthy
Lord, to open the book, because you were slain and with your blood you
purchased for God from every tribe and language and people and nation."
Everything here is mere
illusion! Only mirage. Only death row is real. And when we go there, we'll be
getting a passport to enter that city that Prince Jesus has prepared for us to
live for eternity. Once we get there we will be dressed in white clothes, to
demonstrate that we are already clean the stain of sin. Prince Jesus will
present us to the King and his ministers, as new residents of that city so
beautiful: heavenly Jerusalem .E anyone can bring suit to evict us because the
contract will be eternal. Words of Prince Jesus:
"I know my sheep,
they hear My voice, and no one will snatch them out of My hands. He who
overcomes will wear white clothes, and your name will never be blotted out of
the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before the
angels. The winner will I grant to sit with Me in My throne! ... And God will
wipe away every tear from their eyes. But ye are my friends, only if you do
what I command you. "
The winner is the one
who obeys the word of God
Do not change the
eternal bliss of salvation by the momentary pleasure of sin, because suffering
will also be eternal!
